POV Female Tokyo is our next series of monographs on young female photographers. Launching on the 23rd of March 2012 at Calm & Punk gallery in Tokyo. There will also be an exhibition of the five artists from the 23rd till the 7th of April 2012 to coincide with the Photo Books Hub Tokyo and Tokyo Art Fair. ロンドンのインディペンデントパブリッシャーoodeeによる「5人の女性写真家プロジェクト」前回のロンドンに続いて、今回は東京の5人の女性写真家による写真集がそれぞれリリースされます。参加アーティストは、福山えみさん、細倉真弓さん、小嶋真理さん、野川かさねさん、原未来さん。 あわせて東京のギャラリーCalm & Punk galleryで2012年3月23日から展示も行われます。PHOTO BOOKS HUBにも参加されるということです。日本のパブリッシャーもどんどん海外に出て行くべきですね。 |

2011年9月に創刊された、台湾のコンテンポラリーフォトグラフィー雑誌『Voices of Photography』。
2012年1月/2月号では、うつゆみこさんと横田大輔さんの作品がピックアップされています。公式ブログは英語でも書かれていますので要チェック。そういえば今日本ではこういう雑誌ないですね。
Here is contemporary photography magazine from Taiwan. Blog is written in English too. Those who are interested in Taiwanese photography now should check this out. I am sorry that we don’t have this kinda photography magazine in Japan.
