Amazonや一般の書店では販売されていないZINEやインディペンデント・パブリッシング（自費出版）の写真集を紹介するサイト。
What kind of web site? – The Independent Photo Book announces independently published and/or produced photography books or zines, which are not available via Amazon or other standard outlets.
誰のサイト？
ビジュアル・アーティストのHester Keijser（ヘスター・カイザー） と ライター/ブロガーのJörg Colberg（ヨーグ・コルベーグ）。

実はこのサイト、ヘスターとカイザーが記事を書いているのではありません。ZINEや写真集を紹介したいアーティストやパブリッシャーが、必要な情報や紹介文、それと画像を、サイト宛にメールし、サイト側はそれを機械的にアップしているのです。
指定された条件を満たせば、有名無名問わず誰でも掲載依頼を送ることができます。
それでは条件を読んでみましょう。

This blog is actually not written by Hester and Jorg. Artist or publisher who want to introduce their ZINE/photobook can submit the information. The rules and information that you submit are written at the sidebar.

掲載条件
・プリントされた写真集やZINEに限り、掲載された時点で購入可能であること（絶版でないこと、資金調達目的でもないこと）
・ここでいうZINEとは、定期出版される雑誌ではなく、1度のみつくられる作品（通常それは簡易製本だったりコピー機でつくられたものだったりします）のことを指します。
・サイト側は、掲載メールの編集、セレクトは行いません。
・1つの作品につき掲載は1度きりとします。セールの告知などは行えません。
・Amazonや一般の書店で購入できないZINEや写真集に限ります（自費出版やZINEを扱う書店は除きます）。
・多くても週に1度の掲載依頼としてください。

Generally:
- We only accept announcements about existing print books or zines (strictly no fundraisers)
- By “zine” we here mean not regularly published magazines, but rather one-time publications (who are often xeroxed/cheaply printed and stapled, thus resembling a magazine)
- There is no selecting, editing and/or curating involved
- At the time of the listing, the book/zine has to be available (no “sold out”) so people can actually order it online
- no repeat announcements or “special offers” or “30% off” sale announcements
- we only list books or zines that cannot be bought via Amazon.com (third-party sellers, used or new, excluded), or actual (chain) book shop – specialty/photo shops such as Schaden or Dashwood, of course, are perfectly fine
- no Blurb books or MagCloud magazines, since those can be found easily via Blurb’s/MagCloud’s website
- do not send us emails with more than one book/zine per week to list

英語表記のサイト準備と決済方法さえクリアすれば、作品を海外に広めるいいチャンスになりそうですね。決済方法は海外では特に、ほとんどpaypalを使っているようです。

What kind of web site? – Reviews photography exhibitions and auctions from collector’s point of view. I don’t know any other site like DLK COLLECTION.

それでは、Andreas Gursky（アンドレアス・グルスキー）がGagosian Galleryで行った展覧会のレビュー記事を例に、このサイトの構成を見てみましょう。
Let’s explore the site. I picked up an article about Andreas Gursky’s exhibition to figure out the construction.
まずはタイトル。Andreas Gursky @Gagosian。これは文字通り「アンドレアス・グルスキーのガゴシアンギャラリーでの展示」、ですね。
そしてその下、JTF (just the facts)とあります。ジャスト・ザ・ファクト。展示の概要（事実）です。このパートがこのサイトのユニークなメインコンテンツのひとつなんです。
この展示のジャスト・ザ・ファクトは、
「計13枚の木枠におさめられた特大カラー写真、6作品はBangokシリーズからのインクジェットプリント。大きさは121インチ x 89インチと121インチ x 93インチの2サイズ。エディションは6。残りの7作品はOceansシリーズからのC-プリント。大きさは134インチ x 98インチと137インチ x 98インチ、96 x 179インチの3サイズ。エディションは6。カタログはギャラリー併設のショップで120ドルで購入可。」
ジャスト・ザ・ファクト。ここでは、作品のサイズや点数、プリントタイプ、エディションなどを知ることができるんです。写真の展示を考えている人は、このサイトでいろいろと研究できますね。
I like this section very much, “JTF (just the facts)” which just enumerates the plain facts, such as number and size of the prints, edition, and more. Same format makes it easy to compare one another. Also very useful information for people who are thinking to have their own exhibition in the future.

Larger installation view images are also available. They couldn’t photograph inside the gallery, so images are from gallery’s web site.
次はComments/Context。作家について、作品について、書かれています。
About the artist, about the works in this section.
そして最後、Collector’s POV。コレクターのPOV、ポイント・オブ・ビューです。こちらもユニークな内容。コレクターの観点から役に立つ情報が書かれています。
「Bangkokシリーズのプリントは400,000ユーロ、Oceansシリーズは450,oooユーロ、（最も大きなプリントのみ500,000ユーロ）。グルスキーの作品はセカンダリー・マーケットで何度も最高値をつけている。最近もオークションで2011年現在の写真作品最高値430万ドルを記録した。」
Collector’s POV is another unique portion in this web site. Prices of the works are given.
まだありました。Ratingは展示の得点。Transit Hubは関連リンクです。お腹いっぱいですね。
ほぼ全ての記事がこのフォーマットで書かれているので、読みやすいのも良いところ。

1935年の、ヌードが3Dで見られる本（めがね付き）。写真や映像を3Dにしようとするのは昔から変わってませんね。

It looks like an illustration magazine on cover page but actually it is study for architecture and plants.
本の多くは表紙のみ、または中身数ページだけですが、製本やデザインなどを含めて、サイト内を探検する価値ありです。説明がドイツ語なのが惜しいところ。
They don’t provide much of the contents of each book but worth a look.
